Elgin, IL – Need to know when your garbage and recycling pick-up is or if it will be delayed? With the holidays coming, now's a great time to download the latest version of the City of Elgin app to use the "Garbage Day Search" feature and more:

Ask questions and report concerns.
Submit notifications for missed garbage and recycling collection.
Find an open permit.
View other city maps.
Use the "View all services" link to access a variety of other services.

Recent app updates are the result of resident feedback, which included how difficult it was to navigate the app using the dropdown menus. As a result, these menus have been eliminated, the most requested City services are placed up front and information is visually displayed using recognizable symbols. Download the City of Elgin app, which is ADA accessible, on Google Play or the Apple App Store. Already have the app? Make sure to get the most recent update to access its enhanced features. More features are expected to be added to the app within the next year along with updates to the City of Elgin's website. Stay tuned! For more information contact staff at 847-931-5609.
