Building an Inclusive and Diverse Workplace While Avoiding Legal Challenges

As workplaces and organizations strive to become more welcoming to all team members and the public: internal discussions, trainings and policies/procedures regarding diversity, inclusivity and allyship become even more important. When engaging in this cultural growth or change, it is also important to ensure that the measures are performed in a manner that is not only intentional but also comports with federal and state law. This training is essential for business owners, managers and HR professionals to help develop and grow a culture of inclusion that attracts and retains employees and develops a depth for client interactions that goes beyond technical skill.

Continuing Education Offered: 1.50 HRCI, 1.50 SHRM, 1.50 CLE credits submitted per attendee request prior to event, and 1.50 HR & Management/Supervision Compliance Certificate Credits. HR Certification Institute’s® (www.HRCI.org) official seal confirms that the Illinois Chamber meets the criteria for pre-approved recertification credit(s) for any of HRCI’s eight credentials, including SPHR® and PHR®.
