Aurora (Kane County) median home prices rose by 11.1% in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Aurora in Kane County rose by $21,000 while total sales increased by 0.1 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 868 homes sold, with a median sale price of $210,000 - an 11.1 percent increase over the $189,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 867 homes sold in Aurora in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,947, approximately 1.9 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
