Median home prices in Burlington rose to $276,000 in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Burlington rose by $96,000 while total sales remained unchanged with six homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $276,000 - a 53.3 percent increase over the $180,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Burlington in the first half of 2021, as well.

The median sales tax in Burlington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,938, approximately 2.2 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
