First half of 2022: Home prices in North Aurora increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in North Aurora rose by $26,500 while total sales decreased by 14.2 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 127 homes sold, with a median sale price of $307,000 - a 9.4 percent increase over the $280,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 148 homes sold in North Aurora in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in North Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,778, approximately 2.2 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
