On March 24, A & a Ratliff Properties LLC purchased a home at 609 N. Lyle Ave., Elgin from Fannie Mae and Federal National Mortgage Association for $225,750.

The amount paid for property taxes on this property in 2020 was $6,094.96, 2.7% of the sale price of the home.

This home last sold on Feb. 18, 2009 for $228,000.

So far in March 2022, 124 properties sold in Elgin.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, there were four registered voters residing at 609 N. Lyle Ave. as of Oct. 10, 2020: Charles E. Grisham, 57, Mary E. Grisham, 54, Derek La Rosa, 40, and Frank J. Barta, 50.
