CALL TO ORDER-4:02 p.m.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Timothy Oelker

Vice Chairman Ramona Wood

Commissioner Angela Thomas

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Commissioner Wood motioned to approve the November 4, 2021 meeting minutes. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

NEW BUSINESS

Commissioner Oelker motioned to nominate Ramona Wood as Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission January 2022 – December 2022. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to nominate Angela Thomas as Vice Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission January 2022 – December 2022. Commissioner Oelker seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to approve the Maintenance Engineer Civil Service Exam. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to take the Commission into executive session at 4:09 p.m. to review public safety applicant polygraph, psychological and backgrounds. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to take the Commission out of executive session at 5 p.m. to review public safety polygraph evaluation and/or psychological assessments. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to pass 2020 Police Officer candidate Gabriel Martinez to the next step in the hiring process due to the results of the polygraph assessment. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to pass 2020 Police Officer candidates Eduardo Zavala and Gabriel Martinez to the next step in the hiring process due to the results of the psychological assessment. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to pass police cadet Matthew Lewan to the next step in the hiring process due to the results of the polygraph assessment. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to pass police cadet Matthew Lewan to the next step in the hiring process due to the results of the psychological assessment. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to pass 2021 Fire Private candidates Colin Turner, Mason Costner, Sean Tannehill, Anthony Parillo, Andrew Churchill, Omar Juarez, Jesse Valenti, Joshua Guzman, John Miller to the next step in the hiring process due to the results of the polygraph assessment. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to pass 2021 Fire Private candidates Colin Turner, Mason Costner, Sean Tannehill, Anthony Parillo, Andrew Churchill, Omar Juarez, Jesse Valenti to the next step in the hiring process due to the results of the psychological assessment. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.
