City of Aurora Civil Service Commission met Nov. 4.

CALL TO ORDER-4:01 p.m.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Timothy Oelker

Vice Chairman Ramona Wood

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Commissioner Wood motioned to approve the October 7, 2021 meeting minutes with changes. Commissioner Oelker seconded. Motion Passed.

NEW BUSINESS

Payroll for June, July, August, September and October was reviewed and will be submitted to payroll department for processing.

Commissioner Wood motioned to certify the Equipment Service Worker Eligibility list. Commissioner Oelker seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to certify the Horticulturist Eligibility list. Commissioner Oelker seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to take the Commission into executive session at 4:15 p.m. to review public safety applicant polygraph, psychological and backgrounds. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to take the Commission out of executive session at 4:50 p.m. to review public safety polygraph evaluation and/or psychological assessments. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to pass 2020 Police Officer candidates Philip Baudo, Armando Leon, Joseph Giolli, Andrew Rogalski, Tyler Mayerhofer, Adrian Gonzalez to the next step in the hiring process due to the results of the polygraph assessment. Commissioner Oelker seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to pass 2020 Police Officer candidates Armando Leon, Andrew Rogalski, Tyler Mayerhofer, Adrian Gonzalez to the next step in the hiring process due to the results of the psychological assessment. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned to strike 2020 Police Officer candidates Philip Baudo and Joseph Giolli from the eligibility due to the results of the psychological assessment. Commissioner Thomas seconded. Motion Passed.

Commissioner Wood motioned, seconded by Commissioner Thomas to adjourn the meeting at 5:00 p.m. Motioned Passed.
