A. Arrest Diversion Program for Certain Minor Offenses
Police Chief Ana Lalley and Kane County State’s Attorney Jamie Mosser will be providing information on a new arrest diversion program for certain minor offenses.
B. American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funding Recommendations Update
City Manager Rick Kozal will be discussing the community’s response to the City’s ARPA Funding Priorities Survey along with other information impacting funding decisions.
Initiatives and Other Items
C. Contract with Ecker Center for Behavioral Health for Crisis Intervention Counselor Services ($139,547)
Objective: Provide for one full-time and three part-time crisis counselors to offer services and assistance to those with mental health-related needs, substance use disorder needs and individuals experiencing homelessness.
D. Contract with Salesforce and Cloud SynApps for Licenses, Permits and Inspections Implementation ($105,836)
Objective: Incorporate one of the few remaining non-emergency business processes into Salesforce, the City’s customer relationship management using a first-party solution.
E. Lease Agreement with Strategic Exceptions Professional Consulting, Inc. for Office Space at 31 S. Grove Avenue to Operate a Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) (No cost) Objective: Execute a five-year lease with Strategic Exceptions Professional Consulting, Inc. for three office spaces and shared meeting areas at 31 S. Grove Avenue for the operation of a Minority Business Development Agency.
