City of Batavia issued the following announcement on May. 4.
Kane County Division of Transportation has hired HR Green to study alternative designs for the intersection of Fabyan Pkwy and IL Rte. 31 to improve the safety of this intersection. An interactive website has been created to explain the current conditions and proposed alternatives. KDOT plans to hold public meetings to discuss these alternatives in June 2021.
