City of Aurora issued the following announcement on Mar. 30.
The State of Illinois launches its Mass Vaccination Site in Aurora, and we are seeking Aurora volunteers (16 and older) to assist on the Opening Weekend:
Friday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
LOCATION: 970 N. Lake Street | Aurora, IL 60506
VOLUNTEER DUTIES CAN INCLUDE:
Greeting visitors
Taking temperatures
Assisting with Check-In
Guiding visitors to next section
Monitoring observation area
Assisting with wheelchairs
