City of Elgin issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
Applications for the 2021 Historic Architectural Rehabilitation Grant Program are now available to be downloaded from the City’s website at cityofelgin.org/historicgrants. The deadline for submission of applications and supporting documentation is Friday, April 2.
The Historic Architectural Rehabilitation Grant Program provides residential property owners of structures in designated historic districts or landmarks with reimbursement grants for the restoration of exterior architectural features.
