CITY OF AURORA: Construction Company Opens Downtown Office

Construction

City of Aurora issued the following announcement on Jan. 14.

Known for spearheading many notable construction projects throughout the nation, commercial construction and contracting company, F.H. Paschen, is expanding its operations and footprint.

Essential to the expansion is the opening of its new office in downtown Aurora.

“It was important to be downtown and be part of this community,” said F.H. Paschen Senior Vice President and Aurora resident, Leo Wright. “One of the goals of the mayor and Aurora City Council was to bring more jobs and businesses to the downtown area, and we’re excited to be part of that.”

The new Paschen office is located at 1 S. Broadway Avenue, the historic Grant Elmslie building at the intersection of Broadway Ave. and Galena Blvd.

"Much like downtown Aurora, F.H. Paschen has a strong history and vibrant future," said Aurora Mayor Richard C. Irvin. "The company’s leaders and employees are not only experts in their field, they have already proven to be stalwart corporate citizens who are committed to the betterment of Aurora. They have helped to restore one of our historic buildings and plan to help others develop their own dream properties as well.”

In 2019, Paschen completed emergency repairs on the same building it now calls home. Paschen was recently awarded a job order contract with the City of Aurora, which can be used for repairs and renovations to municipal buildings across Aurora and other public agencies throughout the state.

F.H. Paschen has constructed, rebuilt, renovated and repaired bridges, libraries, commercial and private properties, healthcare facilities, major highways, municipal buildings, religious institutions, transit systems, and waste water treatment facilities, along with countless other projects.

Paschen's national headquarters is in Chicago, with regional offices in Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Columbus, OH; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and Washington, D.C.

Mayor Irvin will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the F. H. Paschen team later this month.
