City of Batavia issued the following announcement on Jan. 9.
The New Year has arrived and it is time to think about the next steps in your life.or business.
Do you have a tiny business that you have been growing out of your home or as a vendor at another business, if you have the best idea for a retail-based business but have yet to execute it, or if you know someone who has a business in another community, but is looking to test the waters in Batavia as a potential home for their retail-based business?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, please head over to downtownbatavia.com for more information on becoming a 2021 Batavia Boardwalk Shop Incubator Business.
You will find the application on the site as well. It is active until January 31st, after which a group of 14 unique jurors will gather together to dig through all of the applicants and select the best options for the 2021 Season (End of May through December 19th) on the Boardwalk.

Our goal is to help grow small business right here in Downtown Batavia and bring valuable retail into the community.
Batavia supports local in a big way, and Batavia and beyond came out big to support the Boardwalk Businesses in 2020.
