City of Batavia issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
Kane County has just launched "Round Two" of their Business Grant Program. They are now accepting grant applications from local businesses in need of financial assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Kane County Board appropriated $5 million for this initiative from its Coronavirus Relief Fund. Eligible businesses may apply for up to $25,000 to cover certain expenses from 3/1/2020 to 12/30/2020. (Businesses that applied under Round One are welcome to apply under Round Two.) More information, including a link to their web-based application portal, is posted on the county’s Coronavirus Relief Fund page. They have established a dedicated telephone number and email address for this important program and staff are ready to field inquiries.
