City of Elgin issued the following announcement on Sept. 26.
A Pre-Budget Workshop between city council and staff will be held tomorrow, Saturday, September 26 at 9:00 a.m. in the Siegle Auditorium (Building E) at Elgin Community College. This workshop is an informal meeting between city councilmembers and staff to discuss budget priorities for the upcoming budget year. Seating will be provided for any members of the public wishing to attend. Temperature checks will be required. Face coverings are also required.
Regular budget meetings begin in early November.
