City of Batavia issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.
The City of Batavia has scheduled a special brush collection to assist residents with disposal of storm damage brush. This citywide collection will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, August 17. To avoid being missed, please have your brush out prior to that time as this will be a one-pass collection, and the contractor will not be returning to areas already done during the special collection. Residents are asked to abide by the regular brush collection regulations as much as possible. As with our regularly scheduled collections, residents can view the status of the special collection on the pick-up map to be posted by 9 a.m. on weekdays Tuesday through Friday. This map will show all areas collected as of the end of the previous day.
