Analysis: Montgomery pays $4.67 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Montgomery & Countryside FPD Firefighter's Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 82.4 percent of the $52,977 the Montgomery & Countryside FPD Firefighter's Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.67 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Montgomery contributed $43,637 to the fund, which saw a $834 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $9,340, or 17.6 percent, in 2018.
