4. Items of Business
a. Consider Draft Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of Squad Car Cameras from CDS Office Technologies for a Total Cost of Project Including Installation Not-to-Exceed $69,788.00.

In response to questions from Ald. Clements, Bruno and Burghart, Police Commander Michael Frieders described how FOIA requests would be handled for videos, how and when videos would be recorded, how triggers to start recording can be set by the department, and that there were no union concerns regarding the process. Frieders added that although he does not anticipate video FOIA requests being a large issue, the current workload for FOIA requests are close to overwhelming the system, and that additional personnel may be needed to meet the needs in the future.
b. Consider Draft Resolution Awarding Bid and Authorizing Execution of a Contract with Meade Electric for FY2019-20 Electric Improvements Contract in the Amount of $95,279.37.
