Village of West Dundee Local Liquor Control Commission met April 2.

Here is the minutes provided by the commission:

I. CALL TO ORDER:

Chairman Nelson called the meeting to order at 7:19 pm.

II. ROLL CALL:

Present were Chairman Christopher Nelson, and Commissioners Andy Yuscka and Pat Hanley. Also present was Village Manager Joseph Cavallaro and Police Chief Tony Gorski.

There were eight (8) people in the audience.

III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A. October 21, 2019

MOTION: Moved by Commissioner Yuscka and seconded by Commissioner Hanley to approve the minutes of October 21, 2019 as presented. Upon roll call, motion was approved by voice vote.

IV. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION:

A. Class L Liquor License Request - Trippots, 102 W Main Street

Manager Cavallaro provided an overview of the request from Trippots for a Class L liquor license to sell beer and wine in conjunction with an arts, crafts or entertainment studio. He directed the Commission’s attention to the Finding of Fact which indicates that all requirements are in order, with the exception of a State liquor license which cannot be obtained until local approval is granted. He noted that the request has been reviewed and recommended by the Police Department.

MOTION: Moved by Commissioner Hanley and seconded by Commissioner Yuscka to adopt the Finding of Fact and authorize issuance of a Class L liquor license to 4Trip LLC, dba Trippots, located at 102 W Main Street. Motion was approved upon roll call.

AYES: Commissioners Hanley, Yuscka and Chairman Nelson

NAYS: None

V. MISCELLANEOUS: There was none.

VI. ADJOURNMENT:

MOTION: Moved by Commissioner Yuscka and seconded by Commissioner Hanley to adjourn the

Local Liquor Control Commission. Motion was approved by unanimous voice vote.

The Local Liquor Control Commission meeting adjourned at 7:21 pm.
