Illinois State House District 66 issued the following announcement on March 13
My office is starting a Coronavirus helping hands programs. We need volunteers! While the COVID-19 does not affect the majority of the population, the elderly and those with underlying health conditions are at serious risk.
We are strongly encouraging those groups to stay home. If you need to go out for any reason, please contact us to see if we can have one of our interns or volunteers do that for you. We can run to the store, library, etc. If for some reason we can’t help you we will try to get someone who can. Private message me if you need help or want to volunteer.
