Aurora C. I. Johnson Elementary School issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.
Parents and guardians are invited to attend our district-wide Parent University, a one-day conference taking place on Saturday, October 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at East High. The conference will feature guest keynote speaker Sunny Chico, creator of “You: Your Child’s First Teacher,” plus many more guest presenters. Interactive parent classes will be presented in English and Spanish, with a resource fair, entertainment, food and raffles. The conference is free and open to all parents and guardians of District 131 students.
