North Aurora home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in North Aurora fell by $6,500 while total sales decreased by 14.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 127 homes sold, with a median sale price of $253,500 - a 2.5% decrease over the $260,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 149 homes sold in North Aurora in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in North Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,597, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
