St. Charles (Kane County) home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in St. Charles in Kane County rose by $10,350 while total sales decreased by 23.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 210 homes sold, with a median sale price of $295,300 - a 3.6% increase over the $284,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 276 homes sold in St. Charles in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in St. Charles for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,766, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
