2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60110?

There were 24 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 60110, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Kane County Reporter.

The data shows that 21 men and three women were released in the Carpentersville zip code. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man convicted of a crime against a person in 2018, and the oldest was a 55-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2015.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Leville Starks. He was convicted of a property crime in 2009, when he was 33 years old. He is now 43.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
