ST. CHARLES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Gospel Justice Initiative welcomes new Client & Volunteer Coordinator

Welcome

St. Charles Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 2.

Gospel Justice Initiative/Administer Justice (Elgin, IL), is pleased to announce that Itzel Alamos, a May 2019 Judson University Graduate, has recently joined their staff as full-time Client & Volunteer Coordinator. Gospel Justice Initiative, a 501c3 and parent organization of Administer Justice, engages with attorneys, volunteers and donors to provide free civil legal services to the underserved and under-resourced in 87 Christian legal centers across the United States. GJI recently partnered with Together Chicago, an organization driven to be a catalyst for transformative change for the city of Chicago, to open legal centers downtown.

Itzel, who graduated with a History/Pre-Law major and a Communication Studies minor and is bilingual, is a valuable add to the Gospel Justice Team. Her primary role in scheduling appointments and welcoming clients for legal and social service needs/referrals is a critical first point of contact for the organization, which celebrates its 20th year serving next year. Additionally, she acts as the volunteer coordinator for over 100 volunteers working with GJI/AJ in the Chicago western suburbs.

Bruce Strom, CEO of Gospel Justice Initiative, shares, "Itzel demonstrates our core values beautifully. She is a professional, adaptive, result-oriented, team-player. I am confident clients and volunteers will love her. I love her willingness to jump in and serve wherever needed. Her servant's heart will guide her well in her future desire to attend law school. For now, we are blessed to have her as part of our team."

To volunteer with Gospel Justice Initiative/Administer Justice, please reach out to Itzel Alamos @ 855.818.4554, or to learn more about GJI/AJ, please visit www.gji.org.
