The campaign committee of president candidate Steve Ward, Citizens to Re-Elect Steve Ward, returned a $128.46 contribution from Steve Ward on May 11, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Ward has not made any other contributions to Steve Ward in the past 12 months.
