Aurora C. I. Johnson Elementary School issued the following announcement on Feb. 19.
Bardwell’s basketball program continued its winning streak on Saturday, February 16, 2019 when its boy’s basketball team won the district 131 elementary basketball tournament. Capping off an undefeated season, the boys rallied at the end of a long day to take the trophy home. This is coach Bonnie Keller’s second tournament win of the season as the Bardwell girls basketball team won their championship just last week. The two winning teams will combine later this week to take on Bardwell staff in a staff vs. student game.
