City of Aurora issued the following announcement on Jan. 6.
Parents, Educators, Coaches, Mentors, Friends: Nominate a student to receive a 2019 Mayor’s Service Above Self Award. The annual award is presented to Aurora students in middle school, high school and college who are upholding Dr. Martin Luther King’s dedication to community service. Visit aurora-il.org/ServiceAward to nominate a student for their service at school and/or the community.
