City of Batavia issued the following announcement on Nov. 26.
Some street signs in Batavia and area thoroughfares have been obscured due to heavy snows and plowing. Please use caution when approaching intersections and reduce speed on all roads.
We also advise that after clearing your drive and walks from snow, that you create access around all fire hydrants.
