State House race: Democrat Villa wins voter tally in Elgin Township Precinct 39

Karina Villa led Republican Tonia Jane Khouri in votes cast in Elgin Township Precinct 39 for the District 49 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Villa appeared to outpace Khouri by a margin of 1.6 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
