State House race: Democrat Villa wins voter tally in Batavia Township Precinct 8

Karina Villa led Republican Tonia Jane Khouri in votes cast in Batavia Township Precinct 8 for the District 49 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Villa appeared to outpace Khouri by a margin of 21.7 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
