State Senate race: Republican DeWitte wins voter tally in Elgin Township Precinct 12

Donald P. DeWitte led Democrat Nancy Zettler in votes cast in Elgin Township Precinct 12 for the District 33 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

DeWitte appeared to outpace Zettler by a margin of 7.7 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
