State House race: Democrat Kifowit wins voter tally in Kane County

Stephanie A. Kifowit led Republican Patty Smith in votes cast in Kane County for the District 84 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Kifowit appeared to outpace Smith by a margin of 53.4 percent on Tuesday in the county.
