Chairman Kojzarek called the meeting to order at 10:54 am.

A. Zoning Petitions

Petition No. 4468: Jeff Crittenden

The petitioner is requesting rezoning from F-District Farming to E-1 District Estate Residential. There are no objectors. The ZBA voted to approve noting unique access issues. The petitioner was present. Atty. Shepro responded to questions on behalf of the petitioner.

The neighboring property owner objects. The ZBA voted to approve. Petitioner's representative, Phil Bus, responded to questions.

B. Discussion: Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment for Community Solar Projects

Development Dir. VanKerkhoff discussed recent newspaper articles on Community Solar Projects. Kane County will have several petitions coming through the process. Development has been made aware of changes that need to be made to the Zoning Ordinance. They will be presenting an amendment at an upcoming meeting to include more definitions and a new Special Use category for solar facilities.
