City of Aurora issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.
The Aurora City Council honored Girl Scout Troop 1508 of Aurora's Ward 9 for their annual SHARE A SCARF Initiative. Last winter, the young leaders collected nearly 100 scarves and tied them on a bridge in downtown Aurora for anyone in need of them. This year, they plan to do even more and will launch their 2nd SHARE A SCARF on Friday, November 16.
