City of Geneva issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
City Hall and other Geneva City offices, with the exception of the Police and Fire departments, will be closed Monday, Sept. 3 in observance of Labor Day.
Normal City business hours will resume Tuesday, Sept. 4.
The holiday also will push back garbage collection in Geneva one day later than normal during the first week of September. Trash and recycling pickup will take place on the following days the week of:
