Dundee Park District Recreation and Fitness Center issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
There is plenty of summer to enjoy even if school is back in session. Kick up your heels family style with a camp out! Bring your friends and family, tent set-up, sleeping bags, a dish to pass for our potluck dinner, and let us do the rest. There will be lots of activities to participate in or bring a comfy chair to relax in for the evening! Fee is per person, children under 3 are free. Clean, lit washrooms are nearby and open all night.

5:30-7:00 pm Arrive, set up, potluck dinner, relaxing, sand volleyball, bocce ball, disc golf
7:00 pm Tour of the zoo
8:00 pm Campfire and s’mores
10:00 pm-7:00 am Lights out
7:00-9:00 am Delicious breakfast
10:00 am Pack up and goodbyes
