St Charles Police Department issued the following announcement on June 28.
On Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 8:26PM, the St. Charles Police and Fire Departments responded to the 300 block of south 14th Street for a motorcycle crash involving injuries. A 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle being driven by 35 year old St. Charles resident Justin Sandquist had just entered the roadway from being parked when he lost control and struck a tree on the opposite side of the road. He was the sole occupant on the motorcycle. Sandquist was later transported to Delnor Hospital in Geneva by St. Charles Medics. The crash is still under investigation.
