Someone needs blood every three seconds. Will you help?
Everyone in the community is invited to join us on July 27 for a blood drive at Fire Station #1 (downtown), 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Heartland Blood Center mobile donation bus will be located right outside Fire Station #1 at the downtown municipal center. Please call the City Human Resources Department at 630-377-4446 to make an appointment. Donating blood for the cancer patients, children, mothers, fathers, and many others who need transfusions is something you can truly feel good about.
