City of Geneva Plan Commission met March 22. 

Here is the minutes as provided by the commission:

Vice-Chairman Mead called the meeting of the Geneva Plan Commission to order at 7:02 p.m. Roll call followed:

Present:              Vice-Chairman Mead; Commissioners Dziadus, Evans, Slifka, Leidig, Stevenson

Absent:               Commissioner Case, Kosirog, Chairman Stocking

Others Present:  City Planner Paul Evans

Public Present:   None;

Approval of the Agenda

Motion by Commissioner Evans, second by Dziadus to approve the agenda as amended. Motion passed by voice vote of 6-0.

Approval of Minutes of March 8, 2018

Vice-Chairman Mead asked to amend the minutes to reflect that the text amendment was to remove the cap on the floor area ratio not to remove the standard. With that amendment, Minutes of the March 8, 2018 meeting were approved on motion by Commissioner Stevenson, second by Commissioner Leidig. Motion passed by voice vote of 6-0.

Public Hearings

Delnor Hospital PUD Amendment – Request for amendment to the Delnor Hospital Planned Unit Development (17th Restatement of Ordinance 2003-33) for modifications to the existing parking ratio for medical offices and the hospital. Location: 300 S. Randall Road Applicant: Charlie Cloutier, Northwestern Medicine

          Motion by Commissioner Stevenson, second by Commissioner Leidig to open the public hearing. Roll call:

          Aye: Dziadus, Evans, Mead, Slifka, Stevenson, Leidig

          Nay: None                                                                                             MOTION PASSED. VOTE: 6-0

          Vice-Chairman Mead said that staff received a request from the applicant to continue the public hearing and the Delnor Site Plan case to April 12, 2018, 7:00 PM in the City Hall Chambers, due to the unavailability of key personnel from Delnor for today’s meeting.

          Motion by Commissioner Dziadus, second by Commissioner Evans to continue the public hearing and subsequent Site Plan review case for Delnor Hospital to April 12, 2018, 7:00 pm, City Hall Chambers. Roll call:

          Aye: Dziadus, Evans, Mead, Slifka, Stevenson, Leidig

          Nay: None                                                                                              MOTION PASSED. VOTE: 6-0

Public Comment – None.

Other Business – Planner Evans indicated this will be the only item of business expected for the April 12, 2018 Plan Commission meeting.

Adjournment

Meeting was adjourned at 7:06 p.m. on motion by Commissioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner Dziadus. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote of 6-0.
