Call To Order:

Chairman Hart-Burns called the meeting to order at 4:32 pm

Roll Call

Present: 3 -

Chairperson Scheketa Hart-Burns, Alderman Judd Lofchie and Alt - Alderman Carl Franco

Approval Of Minutes

18-0246 Approval of the minutes of the Government Operations Committee meeting held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018

A motion was made by Alderman Lofchie, seconded by Alt - Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried.

Ayes: 2

18-0218 A Resolution approving the issuance of a Music Festival permit to the Warehouse Church for Sunday, May 6th, 2018 at the Phillips Park Pavilion area from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A motion was made by Alderman Lofchie, seconded by Alt - Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

18-0257 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class E-1 City of Aurora liquor licenses (unofficially related to application from: Stolp Avenue, LLC d/b/a Leland Legends Bar & Grill, located at 1 South Stolp, Aurora, Illinois, 60506).

A motion was made by Alt - Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

Alderman Rick Mervine arrived at 4:34 and Alderman Carl Franco departed.

18-0214 Indivisible Aurora is organizing a small (10-15 people) walk on downtown sidewalks on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 7:00 pm in remembrance of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

A motion was made by Alderman Lofchie, seconded by Alderman Mervine, that this meeting be adjourned. Chairman Hart-Burns adjourned the meeting at 4:46 pm. The motion carried.
