Analysis: North Aurora pays $3.08 for every $1 pensioners contribute to North Aurora Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 75.5 percent of the $989,060 the North Aurora Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.08 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, North Aurora contributed $747,000 to the fund, which saw a $72,986 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $242,060, or 24.5 percent, in 2016.
