Analysis: East Dundee pays $4.22 for every $1 pensioners contribute to East Dundee Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 80.6 percent of the $556,415 the East Dundee Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.22 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, East Dundee contributed $448,635 to the fund, which saw a $63,694 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $106,193, or 19.1 percent, in 2016. Another $1,587 came from other unspecified sources.
