Analysis: Burlington pays $2.91 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Burlington Community Fpd Firefighters' Pension Fun

Taxpayers contributed 74.7 percent of the $42,484 the Burlington Community Fpd Firefighters' Pension Fun brought in last year, or $2.91 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Burlington contributed $31,738 to the fund, which saw a $22,351 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $10,891, or 25.6 percent, in 2016.
