The Forest Preserve Executive Committee meeting was held Friday January 5, 2018 at 8:30 AM at the Administration Offices located at 1996 S. Kirk Road, Suite 320, Geneva, IL 60134. The meeting was opened by President Michael Kenyon at 8:30 am.

VIII. President's Comments
President Kenyon made two comments. He asked Director Culp how much land we closed on prior to the end of the year. Director Culp said that we have closed on five properties in November and December. Commissioner Hoscheit asked for a complete presentation at the next Full Commission meeting.
President Kenyon also asked for an update to the Farm Bureau grant award that will facilitate a Bio-reactor project. This project partners the District with the Farm Bureau to facilitate and monitor water run off on agricultural lands. The grant awarded to the Farm Bureau for $12,500 will allow the Farm Bureau to hire a contractor. The District will meet with the Farm Bureau to recommend a site for the project.
