Maple Park ranked 206th in state in lottery ticket sales for June 2016

The Village of Maple Park had the 206th highest lottery ticket net sales statewide per capita for the month of June 2016 -- up 350 spots from its May ranking.

The per capita lottery ticket sales in Maple Park was $26.15 per person.

Based on monthly sales records obtained by the Kane County Reporter, Maple Park generated $34,202 in net sales from its two lottery retailers in June 2016, compared to $21,312 in June 2015.

The Village of Maple Park is in Kane County, and has a population of 1,308, according to 2010 census data. Neighboring municipalities are Cortland.

Average sales for municipalities in the region in June 2016 was $27,314.97.
