At a meeting this week, the Batavia Historic Preservation Commission discussed several historical-inspection reports on several sites around town.
The Batavia Historic Preservation Commission protects the historic areas and structures in the city, surveys and records all of the historic properties in the city, reviews all of the evidence for any proposed landmark or historic district, and educates the public about the historical significance of the area.
