Aurora Government Operations Committee OKs church's music festival

Meeting 09

At a recent meeting, the Aurora Government Operations Committee approved a permit that allows St. Nicholas Church to hold a music festival Saturday.

The Aurora Government Operations Committee has jurisdiction over all matters pertaining to intergovernmental relations, traffic and street lighting, elections, legislative matters, the motor vehicle parking system, golf courses and transportation centers.

Chairman Hart-Burns called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm.

meeting held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that

this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried.

16-00436 A Resolution Approving a Music Festival permit to St. Nicholas

Church, 308 High St., for Saturday June 25th, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to

8:00 p.m., and Sunday June 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Franco, that

this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that

this meeting be adjourned. Chairman Hart-Burns adjourned the meeting at 4:57

pm. The motion carried.
