At a meeting this week, the Aurora Government Operations Committee considered several proposed traffic and parking studies.
The Government Operations Committee meets on Tuesdays preceding City Council meetings (usually the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month) at 4:30 p.m. in the meeting room at the Aldermen’s Office, 60 E. Downer Place. The committee reviews parades, rally requests, requests from charity groups to solicit donations, intergovernmental relations, street light and sign requests, traffic concerns, legislative matters, the motor vehicle parking system, city golf courses and elections.
